Eid Party at Steam House

Like always a very beautiful Eid Party took place at Steam House this Wednesday with people turning up from the Student Union, Sussex University and from different societies with in The University of Brighton. The event started with light refreshments and took off with a dinner. Later in the event; Islamic quiz was arranged and every one took part in it.

This was the last Iftar dinner organised by the UBMS. Alhamdulillah the turn out was very good. Especially many students came from the University of Sussex Islamic Society.

UBMS this academic year organised their very first Iftar dinner. Unfortunatley we will only be able to organise two Iftar dinners this year as most of the ramadan came during term off time..

Eid party at Steam House

Last year a beautiful Eid party was arranged by the Muslim Society. Students from both Brighton & sussex university attended the event. With this Eid party; was celebrated the farewell of Amir Kyani as he decided to step down from the post of Society’s President. Food was made available throughout the event and not just Muslims but Non-Muslims from the Student Union were also invited to the event. Later in the day an Islamic Quiz was organised in which every student took part followed by group photos.
